Another sunday. Another day of laundry. And im in the library and am going to ATTEMPT to tell my past 5 days which could be a challenge :)

Anyhow

HAPPY FATHERS DAY! Yay~ I love me pop

June 14th - Trip to San Antonio, Texas for Randolf AFB!

We woke up super early to get ready for the flight for texas and we went to the personel terminal here at the base and waited

After waiting and getting checked in our own 737 came to fly us to texas!
Now heres the cool part.
The aircraft was BRAND NEW. It just came from the factory the day before so we were going to be its first passangers and since the entire plane was ours I got first class and so did a few of us other lucky ones :) Forgot to take a pic of me in it tho !! :( might be the first and last time haha

The rest of those lower class folk had to sit in coach.. Poor lower class folk! ^_^

The flight was about 3 hours so it wasnt bad. I listened to music, read, napped a little.

We got to texas and our initial opinion and thoughts of texas once we exited the aircraft ranged from "OMFG ITS HOT" to "OH DEAR GOD THE SUN AHHHH"

And then of course the 3 aggies and the longhorn was "WEE HOME!"

After waiting in the BLAZING sun for awhile we got briefed by the colonel

Stopped at the BX then waited outside awhile in the BLAZING sun so we took cover as much as we could under trees

After that we headed to our hotels and got changed then reported to the lobby

We were told which aircraft we would be flying up in at the lobby. There were 8 lucky people who would get the very sexy T-38 jet. Everyone else got T-6, T-37 and T-1's. I got chosen for a T-6 so I was happy, it was the second best aircraft.

The rest of the night we went to a mall and then went to sleep.

June 15th - FLIGHT DAY BABY! and a lot of training Zzzzz

Got back to the base early in the morning and to keep things short. We had a lot of breifings and learning to do in the pilots auditorium. We also got a physical in there after HOURS of breifings and powerpoints of everything.

After too many hours of that we had too many hours of learning differnt things like the cockpit, the seat, parachute and other things.

Me learning the seat and knowing how to eject properly

And C/Martin leaning how to use the parachute!

After all of that we put all of our equipment up and waited for our flight time... Well not really waited.. We got to learn more O_o

The mask is uber hard to breath in and it takes a lot of getting used to and the harness is SUPER TIGHT. It was funny. Francisco, curley and I were joking around going "Ohhh my suit is so tight!! Im ready to fuk!" from the juggarnaut.. Haha we had so much fun when everything else was so boring and getting things shoved in our brain.

After a long wait I finally got to get geared up and head in the aircraft!

And of course.. The hero shot!

Then after that we were flying off the runway and into the air.

and wow

I was really nervous at first but once we were up there it all went away and from feeling anxious i went to feeling like im in love. Flying on a commercial 747 or anything else is completely differnt from being in a small aircraft the the T-6. Its amazing

After going through a few nav points he did a few tricks for me like barrel rolls n such and then I got control of the aircraft. oh wow.
He taught me how to do a couple of thinks and I went around the clouds and did cloud chasing n barrel rolls n such. It was so amazing. I could of stayed up there forever.

I LOVED IT.

The T-6 is a beautiful aircraft. I was kind of disappointed that i was going to go up in a prop plane but man I was happy. Its a prop plane but its like UBER turbo charged and so manueverable. I wish I had one at home I could fly all the time.

I didnt want to land. But in a way I was happy because I was oozy O_o

That was one of the most wonderful things I have ever done. I fell in love

Too bad being a pilot is a pain in the ass job with no clear sight of a future =/ Id totally be one

Oh and a good number of ppl puked lol

After that we headed back to our hotel and relaxed a little and got up and left again. (the day was long enough =/ ) but this would be fun because were going to riverwalk and got to see the alamo.

Riverwalk was a nice place. Especially the river part of it lol

But we saw the Alamo!! YAY GROUP PICTURE TIME!
Anyways it was smaller in real life. Its not as grand and big as it seems in the movies

We walked around some more

and came across places like these!!

Another Pats down on the list =p

Anyways for the rest of the night we went around the mall and ate a few things then later we got back to our rooms and we all passed out. IT WAS A LONG DAY but a very amazing one.. One i wont forget

And inspiring

June 16th - Trip back home

We got to sleep in some for the night and when we woke up we got together and headed to the dinning hall for some brunch

it was an awesome dinning hall! and it was just for airmen. I cant imagine the officer one. One of the guys has army history and he was like "Grr this place sucks!" and were all like why? And he said because its too nice to be a dinning hall. It should be plain and have a cafeteria style. funny

Afterwards we got to our plane. It was a different plane and this one had no first class but thats okay lol

The plane flight was alright. I slept some, read some, listened to music the entire time (sound familiar heh). When we got back to NJ we had a great surprise which would make things official for us... Anyways when we got back there was a woman who said "Did you guys just get back?" and we told her yes and she said to go upstairs b/c there was soemthing for us. That something was.. GLORIOUS GIRLSCOUT COOKIES!!

Girlscouts donated to Mcguire A lOT of girlscout cookies and we got some :) I took 4 boxes with 12 packs of cookies each. Which is a lot of cookies!! Especially when little blood sucking, money sucking little girls sell them for 7 bucks. 4 x 12 = 48 x 7 = $336

But for us.. FREE!! MWAHAHA

this one guy got 6 boxes cuz he drove here lol.

We decided then ... that officially... were totally going airforce. Its amazing how much girl scout cookies can make us so happy! haha

After our happy time we got debriefed by the colonel and sarg on how much of a good job weve been doing with everything

Tuesday, June 13, 2006

Its 8:45PM right now.. Im in the lobby for our dorm and I have CQ duty. I figured I would volunteer on the short night so they cant come back at me and be like "hey scarberry you havent done CQ! youve been voluntold to". So why the early night? We got a curfew of 9PM tonight which means theres only a few more minutes left but its early because tomorrow morning we have to be ready at 5:30AM because were taking a place to Randolf, AFB at Texas. Its going to be awesome because were going to have flight orientations and the pilots like to, quite blunty, fuck with cadets in the air. NICEEEE

Anyways sunday (June 11th) - we ended up having a picnic (or bbq) during the day.

Had some burgers, played some kick ball then as predicted.. Went to the firehouse and there was another night of violent crud.

June 12th - Maintenance... yay

Back to maintenance except this time we werent BORED the entire time. I got to work with C-17 engines which was pretty cool. I learned a lot.

Man im getting fat here. they feed us too much and dont get to exercise enough to battle it off =p

And tis one of the C-17's on the flightline

June 13th - More maintenance

This time we worked on KC-10's. All we did was remove panels, check for anything wrong, put them back on, and then screw em

CHEESE~

Sunday, June 11, 2006

Its June 11th and im downstairs in our dorm lobby with my airforce PT shirt.. As I look around I notice everyone else is in their PT shirt too.. What does that mean? Laundry day!! WOO! lol

Anyways yeah we get sunday off so its ust going to be a chill day. Maybe go to the gym or something.

Friday (June 9th)- We got assigned to our new units. I got maintanence which is kinda cool I guess? Unfortunately it was friday and the Air Force kinda "Unofficially" closes on the weekends because theres nothing for them to do since most of the planes are gone. I went in a truck with this reserve senior airman for a few hours and went up and down the flightline and helped him load the battery/stair/nitrogen units for the kc-10/c-17's. So that was pretty cool. There were a few planes still on the flightline so I got to check them out. In one of the c-17's there was something kinda funny in it. A Tim Burtons! Now most of you probly arent familiar with Tim Burton but while I was in Canada I learned about the coffee shop and its "social standing". So it was really funny to see it crammed in a trailer type thing to get shipped overseas for the troops.

After lunch us maintence guys just went back to our dorms and took a nap because we had nothing to do. Man naps are really nice when you dont get much sleep.

After a nice nap we all regrouped and the colonel got us a bus to go to a mall in NJ bout 30 minutes away. One of the cadets KL who lives around here recommended it because theres more hot girls there hehe. We were all like YES ATTRACTIVE FEMALES!! And its only been 5 days.. I dunno how those poeple overseas do it lol. We heard stories where everyone was going back home from Iraq and this one time this black guy stood up in the plane and shouted "ALL YOU SAND PRINCESSES PREPARE TO BE UGLY AGAIN!" Funny stuff.

We all did our own thing at the mall, we only had a few hours so we could only do so much. First we ate at the cafeteria then most of us saw a movie. I saw Cars with a bunch of the guys. It was okay, I was expecting more but it was still enjoyable.

Went back to our dorms and went to sleep.

Saturday (June 10th)- PHILLY!

We had group breakfast and headed to Philly. Before our civy bus came we had to kill some time so we played battle of the sexes because someone had the cards on them. Was pretty funny. We ran out of card question and began to think of gender aimed questions to ask.

The ride to philly was about an hour and when we got there we all split up. I stayed with a group because I like being with a larger group then a small one because its just more fun! We saw the liberty bell which is okay? Its a bell hehe

went around the city and we stopped at the famous Pats for a philly cheese steak. And damn! I never got a sub ready so fast for me. I made my order, payed and 10 seconds later my sub was laying right in front of me. Its deffinately fast paced there. The sub was good but I wasnt like OMFG THAT WAS AMAZING!

Then across the street was another famous philly cheesesteak place.. Genos

The city kinda reminded me of New Orleans a bit because of the small roads and stores n bars being everywhere on both sides. It even had the funky beer/piss/sweat/blood smell some places!! Not as bad as New Orleans was but still lol.

Overall Philly was great to visit and being with the rotc guys n gals is just fun.

Afterwards we headed back to the base and had lunch where we joked around. Afterwards we went to the firehouse n chilled there. Ppl played Crud and us others watched a movie. We watched Shanghai Noon then after the movie we chilled around some more till we had to be back in the dorms. We still werent tired and didnt feel like going to sleep so we went to one of our rooms and played Apples to Apples. There were probly 12 of us that were playing, was pretty funny.

As for today.. Yeah laundry and then theyll be a picnic with sports n probly more firehouse

Im in New Jersey right now!! YAY!! At Mcguire Air Force Base.. Its pretty good.. Lot of fun.. Lot of boring

It basically started with the plane ride here but he night before I left at June 2nd i went to Texas De Brazil with my parents and it was hardcore then the next day was airport day. Had breakfast with my parents at the hotel restruant then went on my airplane ride.. I was playing good ol' C&C but then I got really tired and closed my eyes and next second we were landing.. Guess I fell asleep =p

I landed at Philly and went to the USO at the airport. There were some cadets there and we were the early ones so we took a bus to the base with the sergeant. Hes a cool guy, funny and dorky.. And has no shame haha

The first day at the base was a bunch of BORING ASS briefings which we all struggled to stay away. We were all amazed that we actually did it. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner which is kinda crazy.. I never eat 3 times a day but theyre feeding us a lot. Good food too :) That night we went to our dorms and my roommate is cool. We joke a lot.. Matter of fact we all do lol.. Theres 39 cadets here today (the 40th didnt show up) and we all got really close within the first couple of days which is really cool. Everyone is from like everywhere. Got guys from california, georgia, boston, texas ect ect... 3 of the guys go to texas A&M which is funny because it reminds me of corrie and her sister. I talk to them about the core n stuff.. Theres a couple guys from the Virginia and Georgia Tech too.. One girl goes to MIT majoring in material engineering and were all like O_o

After the first couple of days we got assigned to a random unit to "shadow" or do whatever with... Whatever because none of them were really expecting us lol. I got lucky or well atleast I thought because I got Security Forces and the other poeple were like "JEALOUS~". When we got to the SF office we waited awhile for our LT and then an airman came and was like "yeah you guys look bored, follow me to the armory". We got to check out SEXY GUNZ. Got to check out and play with SAWs, M16's with M203's, M9's, shotguns, and my favorite.. The schekzy m4a1 and they had this uber red dot on it with RIS and having different thigns attatched to it. It was so awesome. We wanted to go shooting and we asked our LT later but he said we couldnt because "were not enlisted nor officers so TECHNICALLY your civilians".. Bleh

Our LT is cool.. Hes so bitter lol. He fits SF perfectly, always pulling like dirty (not perverted.. usually) jokes and cursing all th etime n stuff. At first were like.. the hell your an officer why are you cursing because were not used to that. We only knew the ROTC side =p But anyways we got to talk to and hang out with the airmen at SF and theyre awesome. They have so much fun with eachother because at times theyre nothing but extremely BORED with eachother. They were talking about the pranks they pull like sending gay magazines to eachothers homes n stuff lol. They even got one guy to search the landing zone for the keys to the airplane.. Airplanes dont use keys hahaha. He searched for like 4 hours and they finally told him. Lot of other funny stories like how one girl called SF and said "This might sound weird but are handcuff keys universal?" and the SF guys were like "uhhh yeahhh uhh what do you need" and the girl responded with "well my boyfriend is currently handcuffed to the bed". We started cracking up.

the first day with SF tho was boring because we just sat around with the other 4 cadets im with. The second day with them on the otherhand was pretty cool. The LT and a senior airmen taught us handcuffing/searching procedures and hand to hand combat/defensive moves.. Omg they were so sweet. I dont really remember them too well since it was only a few hours but he showed us so many awesome moves. And he kept making fun of me because I was small =( But he said thats good because I have an advantage over big guys and i was just like yeah right and he showed me some moves and I was able to like flip him and get him to the ground. 3rd day on the other hand was something different. We were suppost to get "dirty" but that didnt end up happening. This one airmen girl was getting deployed to afghanistan and our LT was training her... Unfortunate for us (and her) it was the powerpoint part of the training. It was FOUR HOURS of non stop powerpoint. After the 4 hours of powerpoint guess what, we had even more powerpoint!! O WOW!! it sucked but owell. Overall like I said.. The guys there were cool.. The LT was pretty crude but i guess that was funny because of his image. The airmen were awesome, especially the one we were hanging out with. He wanted to get us some gear and take us out and and have fun but the LT was like "Oh no ill just give htem death by powerpoint" yeah like we enjoyed that heh.

The base itself is alirhgt. Its kinda small and theres no fighters or anything but theres plenty of cargo and refueling aircraft since this is the mobility MAJCOM. We wear BDU's everyday starting when we wake up which is about 6AM and our duties are over at 7PM when we have dinner. After that we all usually go to the gym or airmen firehouse.. The airmen firehouse is an interesting thing.. On the first tour of the base we saw a firehouse and there were no firetrucks and a guy was cleaning out his rims infront of it and we were all "LAWLZ!" but what happened was the firestation got moved closer to the flightline and that building the airmen got and turned it into a little entertainment house. The main room has a pool table, hockey, pingpong table, stereo, couches ect. Another room has couple of computers, the 2nd room has 2 big screen tvs with one hooked up with a xbox while th eother ps2. Then other 3rd room is a movie room which is cool. Its really cool and weve gone there since we were able to everynight. I also found a guitar in one of the rooms so yay i get to play guitar here.

But overall sofar its okay. Kinda wish there was a bit more for us to do since we all have downtime but I guess thats what its like eh. Everyones really cool and chill here which kinda changes our view of the air force in a funny way lol. Were like "Wtf are we marching for?". But anyways the days are really long and we all get super tired by 10. Theres still like 2 1/2 weeks to go so yeah ill try to keep posted of whats going on.
Hey everyone!!

Im in New Jersey right now for rotc in Mcguire AFB. I'd write more but i dont have time so heres my heads up =p

Im trying to keep up by writting some at night but im usually too tired to write much lol.. LONG DAYS

Trying to recall what has happened in the past few months is kind of hard. I mean the only real big things are ROTC and Corrie.

but ill throw it all in a nut shell.

I suppose ill start with the big addition to my life that a normal kid after high school has to deal with..

A JOB!!!

yeah its my first job.. My mom kind of got me the hookup for Reb Lobster.. I took my test (yeah you have to pass a test to be apart of redlobster lol) then got my interviews with the managers and they took me in. I work as a host right now and its alright. My mom seriously wants me to be a waiter but its not really my thing. The food business just isnt me ya know?

When i first started working it was kinda fun because i got to meet new people and I was exposed to all the crazy restruant things that happened. I also see a lot of random people including my ROTC sergeant and even the person who gave me my driver liscence test =p But it kinda got old pretty fast. I already wake up in the morning (or for me.. the afternoon) going ughhh i dont want to work today.

And a quick note.. I failed freshmen biology =p it sucks.. I hate biology.. Ive always hated biology? Why did I take it? From now on I make sure I KNOW WHAT THE CLASS IS GOING TO BE ON. I could of taken environmental biology and aced that but owell. This semester screwed up my GPA i gotta get it back up next time and make up my stupid credit.

Anyways ROTC!

uh.. where to start?

Basically like said before the 2nd semester was kicked up a few. It was a lot more tough with a lot more side work to do.. Memos, Studying, Organizing things and everything. It was pretty crazy.

LLAB itself seemed to be easier though, even though they were more "tough" on us. We did a lot more GLP's (group leadership projects) which were little scenario's. They were fun and difficult. But I learned a lot from those because I was made leader for a few.

Couple of other things that happened in ROTC was the visit to Patrick AFB and the Highlander Drill where we got to judge JROTC kids.

But first the Patrick trip in a nutshell!!

Morning started with everyone gathering together infront of the Det. Lucky for us, while we were waiting we had entertainment! There was a homeless/mental/hospitalied guy walking around and asking everyone for the coach for the UM football team. So pretty much all of the UM police showed up since they dont have anything better to do

When we got on base one of the first places we went to was the bowling alley where I lost really bad.. and that was playing with the really bad people =-p

During the trip we ate at the chow hall which was surprisingly VERY VERY GOOD! They even had asian stir fry one day which made me very happy ^_^

We also had on and offbase group pictures!!! Fishtank one is on cocobeach where we went to different stores.. One was a pimp surf shop where i wanted to buy things but didnt have money =p

Got tours of the base including Security Forces and we got to watch a guy in doggy armor get pwzn3d by a doggy!!! Then he saw a snake and got really scared and ran away (no joke). We also learned that the dogs who ate their own poo tended to be the healthy ones.

After we got to play in an air traffic control tower which was cool.

We got a tour of other things on the base such as the PJ's (the para rescue jumpers) which was awesome. Those guys are the definition of bad ass and heroic. Got to see a couple of sims like the flight sim and traffic control which was also cool.

On another day we took a trip to the cape and was able to get close to some launch pads. Went in some bunkers, went ontop of some bunkers, saw a museum, drove around and took pictahs!

There was even more fun!! Which was Kennedy Space Center in the morning but yeah NONE of us were really interested for some reason. We were all like eh and left after just like an hour there. That was a waste of money. The only thing was supah koo was one of our captains being a tard :)

MORE FUN!! Including.. Chasing Perez around the beach with his pink floatie

Going to Hooters was a blast aswell

Besides going to Hooters we also went to a club which was dead until about 2 AM then it got kinda fun. It was kinda crazy.. There were boobs everywhere and XTREME booty dancing. Some pool and other things till we left. Godfrey's cousin lives near there so she was with us and we all fit in her car and got dropped off at the gate of the base. Atleast thats what we thought. It was the wrong gate and we had to walk like 2 miles in the dark to get to the right one lol. Sadly no pics

We were going to go to a strip joint but we didnt have time :( No more boobies! *tear*

On the last night we all got together in a room and devised a plan to prank our wing commander since he was the only POC with us. The plan was charity would knock on the door and have her camera with her to record a video. She would ask him to give comments on the trip and we would come in from the front and back door with pillows and ANNIHILATE HIM! And it worked perfectly. We also got Perez because.. Its Perez :)

(trying to get the vid from charity)

In the morning we headed home but we had a final stop.. THE WATER PARK YEEEAAHHH!! That was a complete blast :)

The trip overall was pretty awesome and fun. It was a great to spend some time with the cadets before they turn into POC which kinda scurs me. They were there A LOT for me when they were sophmores.. Now their going to come back from field training (hopefully) and being the ones bossing me around. Itll be weird but owell, itll give me a chance to show everyone what I can do as a AS200. I can teach the new kiddies thatll be coming in

On the subject of ROTC still.. Near the end of the semester we had the Highlander Drill which had different JROTC's from Homestead, Veralla, South Ridge ect ect. They competed in things like color gaurd, drill, exhibition and other things and we were the judges. It was fun to play big bad college ROTC boy for once.

----------------

The last few classes of ROTC pretty much consisted of final parade which sucked.. Cause i hate parade.. Parade is lame... BUT YEAH the semester was pretty good.. Im very nervous about next year and field training. I think to myself sometimes that I might not make it but i try to get it out of my head and do my best. Thinking of my parents and corrie gives me inspiration to keep going.

Corrie always keeps me on my feet and makes myself able to keep at my best. Without her id be lost and I love her dearly

As of June 1st-

Whatever is said just goes in one ear and goes out the other.
Im not the one going to try to give another life lesson, high school is over.
Ill let the ones who are still in it (plus the ones who never "left" high school) deal with it

But i will say this

You cant just leave someone who you consider important or a big part of your life in one way or another then show back up anytime you find convient and expect the other person you didnt do anything

YOU ARE NOT PERFECT
YOU FUCK UP
LEARN THAT

This situation is pretty much like with kris so

Im forgiving but not forgetful

it doesnt change what happened and im very angry still BUT like i said. High school girls and boys need not be a concern for me. They can discover their stupidity, arrogance, ignorance and everything else on their own when they leave because you know what. Nobody gives a shit who you are in the world. Your a maggot among the billions of people who live on this world. Why the hell do you think you would be special? Your not (Unless you become president and fuck up the country you control.. kk thx la~ bush)

Anyhow, before my mind continues to wonder

In the beginning I was on Gigi's side. I accepted her. I didnt care what she did because I didnt care. But with the number of things she did. It eventually got to me. She can be very nice and she can be the queen bitch of the universe.

But heres reality

Theres no point in going on because nothing is being absorbed by her. Trying to tell Gigi she did something wrong is like convincing an athiest God exists.

So im going to have to deal with her for better or worse

only thing I hope she will learn.. if anything.. is that she makes mistakes.. big ones.. and I hope ONE DAY she'll realize that and take responsibility.

Will it happen? Probly not. People change but they dont change their ideals

I was going to delete the post all together but I wont. Why? This is my website. If i like something ill write about it, no problem. If i dont like something, why should it be any different? Nothing would be said if this were a livejournal

Plus a constant reminder is always nice and it gives for plenty of quote action heh

Well nothing can be done.

I think this entire situation is shit and pointless. My solution is one that wont happen so whatever.

Hopefully saturday ill be able to give a roundup of the past few months because its the day before I leave. Its not much tho so dont expect AN EPIC STORY OF GOOD VS EVIL! But atleast theres a love tale ;)
